Ethernetlinks
The High Channel Count DMA IP Core allows to connect Ethernet links via PCI Express to the FPGA. The IP Core provides the RX and TX streaming interfaces in parallel form to which an Ethernet MAC of your choice can be connected. Whether classic 10/100/1000 Ethernet or high performance 10G/40G Ethernet, the throughput is only limited by the PCI Express bandwidth.
Using the PCI Express multi-function feature supported by our High Channel Count DMA IP core, multiple Ethernet links can also be opened up and even mixed with project-specific DMA. In doing so, each functional unit has its own driver and the system maintains a clear logical separation on the software side.

Direct connection to the operating system
We support you, not only on the FPGA side with IP core and reference design, but also with a suitable device driver, which integrates the new Ethernet link firmly into the operating system. This means that the new link is visible and programmable for the user in the usual way via the operating system.
